The Op-Art Portfolio Cover introduces the basics of graphic design in the context of 60's era Op-Art. Artists such as Victor Vaserely are featured, in addition to M.C. Escher and others. Students explore the advent of painting and art that was aimed at exploiting new understanding of the science of optics.
The project objective is to create a black-and-white design using the student's name in a grid intended to generate an optical illusion or "trick of the eye."
