GREENE M.S. ART

With this project, Art 1A students begin their exploration of clay, creating a sculptural container with an animal theme using clay slab & coil construction techniques. The container generally has the shape of a vase, but sometimes the animal theme dictates a different approach. Students decorate their sculpture with a variety of textures and, after an initial bisque firing, they glaze their work for a final firing.
